Skillset has established a high level industry panel to lead the development of the vibrant skills agenda across the three Northern regions.
Skillset Northern Media Skills Panel aims to provide strategic leadership for a Northern wide approach to skills in the industry, including planning and investment. Its objective is to ensure that creative media businesses across the North can maintain and develop a highly skilled workforce able to compete with the best in the world.
The panel is made up of senior industry representatives who command the respect of their peers within the sector and will be able to influence key investors in learning and skills, including the Regional Development Agencies, Regional Screen Agencies, Learning and Skills Councils, and industry itself through and with Skillset.
