A Bigger Future, developed by Skillset and the UK Film Council in consultation with industry, was launched in 2003. It is a complete training and education strategy for the UK film industry, focusing investment from the National Lottery, the Skills Investment Fund (SIF) and other sources.
In order to ensure that this investment is targeted to where it is most needed, we need comprehensive data on the industry.
The Skillset/UK Film Council Feature Film Production Workforce Surveys provide the perspective of the UK's 10,000 strong film production crew on: working patterns; training needs and experiences; qualifications; and demographics.
