Census day provides us, our partners and Government with the most up-to-date information on the size and shape of the Creative Industries. This information is then used to dictate policy, spending and funding decisions.

So it is very important that the census gathers as much data as possible!

All creative media companies based in the UK will be sent a census form by post. The results will be published early in 2013 and a report will be sent to all participants, so your company can see how they fit into the workforce.

All information provided will be treated in strictest confidence and used only for the purposes of compiling aggregate statistics on the whole industry.

An independent organisation called Qualasys has been commissioned to carry out the survey. You can be assured that absolutely no-one outside Qualasys or the Creative Skillset research team will see the answers you give and data management will adhere to the 1998 Data Protection Act.
