The George Viner Memorial Fund
Established by the National Union of Journalists to provide scholarships to Black and Asian journalism students to ensure that journalists reflect the communities they report on.
Journalism Diversity Fund
The Journalism Diversity Fund looks for people from diverse backgrounds to train as journalists. Bursaries are on offer for NCTJ accredited courses for those with the potential to succeed in one of the most exciting and rewarding careers around.
Lifelong Learning
Help is available with Career Development Loans for people in full-time employment who are funding their own training.
Publishing Training Centre Diversity Grants
Diversity Grants are available for Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) students. The annual bursary scheme awards are made to BME students who have been offered places by UK universities on Masters' level degree courses in Book and/or Journal Publishing who also demonstrate a strong desire to work in the UK publishing industry on completion of their studies.
