Creative Skillset has been working with the film and TV industries to bring together existing industry-led health and safety training and qualification initiatives to agree on a common framework for training, qualifications and standards in health and safety across the two sectors. Creative Skillset will invest up to £98,000 in this funding programme over a year.

Health and safety bursaries for organisations funding programme
Health and safety bursaries are available for organisations running courses on our approved health and safety course list with five or more individuals from the film and/or TV sectors.
Who can apply?
Organisations that have training on our approved health and safety course list and have also been approved by one of the following schemes:
- The Joint Industry Grading Scheme (JIGS)
- The Production Safety Passport
- The nationally recognised competence-based qualifications/Creative Skillset Skills Passport
Who cannot apply?
- Organisations who have not had their health and safety training approved by one of the participating schemes.
- Individuals: there is a seperate funding programme for health and safety funding for individuals

This scheme has been funded by the Creative Skillset Film Skills Fund as part of A Bigger Future 2, the UK film skills strategy. The Creative Skillset Film Skills Fund is supported by the National Lottery through the British Film Institute and the film industry through the Skills Investment Fund.
